YIN YOGA CLASSES
Yin yoga is a floor-based, slow paced style of yoga where poses are held for around 3-5 minutes each. Yin yoga provides moderate stress to the body with the aim of increasing synovial fluid to the joints, and targeting the connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, even the bones of the body. Each class is designed to improve the flow of qi, or energy, as taught in Traditional Chinese Medicine to run through and support the meridian pathways of the body. Meditation and mindfulness techniques are entwined throughout the class to support you in connecting deeper to your self, coming away feeling nourished, clear and restored. A gentle practice suitable for any fitness level. Lycra not required. Simply clothes that feel comfortable and allow you move freely.
